SR-22

A certificate filed by your insurance company with your state proving that you carry the minimum required auto insurance. An SR-22 is usually required after serious driving violations like a DUI or driving without insurance. It is not a type of insurance itself but a proof-of-coverage form that must stay on file for a set period.
